immer wieder faszinierend, dass man durch "Modellflugzeug-Schubbsen" auch Flugstunden sammeln kann
The first JL10 inducted into PLAN air wing. From HenriK.
After the Chinese air force, the Chinese navy air forces seem to have also received their firstJL-10 , if we believe the images revealed in an institutional video. It is therefore the second type of advanced training aircraft of the Chinese Navy, after the JL-9 and its variant JL-9G , which will train naval aviation pilots whose number is constantly increasing.
But we already expected it for this new introduction - In August last year, we reported in the file " The Chinese Navy will receive the JL-10 " that Chinese naval officers have arrived at the " HAIG factory (Hongdu Aviation Industry Group) - where JL-10s for the Chinese Army and L-15s for export customers are manufactured - to carry out quality checks on equipment being assembled.
This new endowment, however, was revealed without a drum or trumpet. Indeed, we can see a JL-10 rolling at a very short passage, about 03:50 in a new video presented by the Chinese Academy of Naval Air Forces, without more precision.
The aircraft should allow pilots of naval aviation to train for heavy fighter pilots such as Su-30MKK , J-11BH or JH-7A , while the JL-9 and JL-9G Would devote themselves to the training of the embarked pilots, who will fly on the J-15 and its variants. But this distribution remains to be confirmed, because the inverse configuration is not yet totally excluded.
It should be noted that the satellite images as of December 31, 2016 show that a ceremony seems to have taken place the assembly plant of HAIG. Eight JL-10s in total lined up next to each other on the runway, these could be aircraft delivered to the navy.

In order to satisfy orders from the Air Force and the Chinese Navy, as well as export orders, the manufacturer of JL-10 and L-15 has set itself several ambitious objectives to be reached in the years to come up.
In a new article published at the end of March in CAN News , the daily newspaper of the Chinese aircraft manufacturer AVIC, we learn that the HAIG aims to reduce the unit production cost by 20%, reduce the duration of the pilot training cycle from one to Two years, to reach a cost of the hour of flight which represents only 20% of the similar devices of the international market, and to multiply the life of the cell by two compared to the current fighter jets.
All of these measures should increase the competitiveness of the HAIG and the JL-10 advanced trainer range, both on the domestic and export markets.
