Hallo!
Ich zitiere aus meiner „Quelle“, dem Buch „B-1B Bomber“ (Lindsay Peacock, Osprey Combat Aircraft Series, I. Titel, 1987), S. 46:
„European One“
In the meantime, it appears that consideration was given to adopting a basically grey overall camouflage finish, light grey being used in the vicinity of heatsensitvie areas such as the flight deck and electronics bay and dark grey elsewhere. Ultimately, this was not proceeded with, the USAF choosing to employ a variation of the “European One” camouflage instead. This is the definitive camouflage and it is applied to all production B-1Bs. The precise hues employed ar very hard to define accurately for they seem to vary remarkably according to differing lightning conditions. However, it appears that there are three basic shades, compremising green (FS 34086), dark grey (FS 36081) and light grey (FS 36118).
