As I'm from belgium, living near Kleine Brogel AB, and my german writing isn't that good, so I'll try in German but write it in english also
just for keeping errors out of question.
Die 2 sorten canopies ist zu verklaren an die coating die dar auf gemacht ist. das braun ist eine elteren sort of anti-radar coating, und das grun achtiges is't eine neue version. Die grune coating ist aber (expensive) so das die braune canopies und grune durch ein ander gebraucht wurden. eben so das das canopy grun ist und das kleinen glas braun.
Ich had gedacht das est mogenlich war das erwunschten effect zu verkriegen mit das tamiya smoked uber das gelbe canopy zu brushen und du hast dich eine braune canopy.
Das grun ist schoon etwas anders und habe ich gein methode zu.
So now in English:
The brown-gold and green colors on the canopies are coatings to minimalize radarreflections. The brown are the older coatings and the green is the newer one, but also more expencive. thereby they are using the old brown-gold as much they can. even so that the little window is left brown and the canopy is adapted with the green coating. that's why the color differences are there.
I didn't test it yet but I think if you spray Tamiya's smoked on the yellowed clear parts, you get pretty close to the old brown coating. For the green coating that's more difficult because it has other colors depending the light and so on.
