I'm a modeller. My apologies for not writing in German.

I'd like to show You my current project.

It's an "offen deckung" with mig-21 bis "899" from JG-8 in Marxwalde in summer 1990.

I'm looking for reference material about the "towable power generator" which I often see pictured next to the mig-21.
In particular drawings or its dimensions.

i think we can help you.

In yours ODF is missing the Tool-Box ( ca 0,80 x 0,80 x 1,50 )
This Box can you see on the rigth sigth of my picture

Yes, its Preschen, ca. 1990. The last days of the JG 3
this is the 784 incl. the 1. Technican ( he is the Black men on the front wheel)

this is a "electric ground card"

for checks of the electric parts ( 24 v and 115 v ?) by pre fligth and post fligth checks.

it is not for engine-start.

It's called "SG-1" or "ALA". This device generate 28 V DC with max. 500A and 115V AC (400Hz) with max. 40A.
