Lt. Col. Barry Billmann, Missile Space Intel Center individual mobilization augmentee, operates a former Soviet Union straight flush SA 6 radar system from inside during the Green Flag East 13-03 in Leesville, La., Jan. 21. The SA 6 was used along with an SA 8 transport eject launcher radar to locate and target F-16 Fighting Falcons, acting as real-world threat surface to air missile systems during the exercise. The systems gave F-16 pilots from 55th Fighter Squadron, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., an idea of what they will likely encounter with future adversaries. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
