Hallo zusammen!
In der Zeitschrift Aeroplane Monthly (Ausgabe 12/1988) habe ich in einem Artikel zur Ju 86-Verkehrsflugzeugversion die Information gefunden, dass die Flügeltanks (nicht-Abwurftanks!) der Ju 86 ABWERFBAR seien:
"Outboard of the engines on each side between the spars were aluminium fuel tanks of 240 lit and 320 lit (53 gal and 70 gal) giving a total capacity of 1,120 lit (246 gal). Two additional tanks each of 180 lit (40 gal) could be installed and there was a 70 lit (15 ½ gal) oil tank in the leading edge of each wind. The fuel tanks could be jettisoned."
Frage: Kann das jemand bestätigen (mit Quellenangabe(n))? Und wozu soll eine solche Einrichtung überhaupt gut sein??
Vielleicht ist meine Interpretation aber auch nur ein Missverständnis....
