Hi,
I just checked the 1967 and 1968 movements of the FWD Flugzeugwerke Dresden (FWD). The MiG-15UTI and MiG-17 export info is now very detailed compared to the previous update. Very interesting !! Again a big compliment for publishing this kind of detailed information.
Your amount of new information does cause a problem, I hardly get around to family matters anymore. . . .
Something that perhaps not everyone knows;
20.01.1967 MiG-17F (Lim5) 707 NVA, to FWD, reserve East German Air Force, storage and later preparation for F40-programm.
00.02.1968 MiG-17F (Lim-5) 707 NVA, ex FWD, bound by train and ship to Syria.
F-40 program (2nd part): 10 Lim-5 / MiG-17F for Syria.
This Lim-5 ended its flying career in the USA . . . .
On August 12, 1968, Syrian Air Force MiG-17F 1033 and Lim-5 1041 landed in the abandoned Betzet runway. It became clear that the pilots were in the midst of a navigation flight in Syrian skies based on outdated maps from 1945. They entered Lebanon and instead of flying north and landing in Tripoli, Lebanon, the two turned to the south and landed in Betzet. Until after the land, the pilots were certain that they had landed on a Lebanese runway. See

HAVE DRILL was the name of a Defense Intelligence Agency project whose purpose was to evaluate and exploit a
MiG-17 that the US acquired in 1968 from Israel. The HAVE DRILL was Lim-5 055 c/n 1C-0718. See

Lim-5 c/n 1C-0718 can be linkt to former NVA Lim-5 707 (and Syrian AF 1041)
So far this is the only former NVA Lim-5 that can be linked to a Syrian serial.
Etwas, das vielleicht nicht jeder weiß;

Siehe
