Das gilt für das ganze Norwegische Schelf. Aber Statoil ist ja nicht der einzige Operator in Norwegen.Gilt das für ganz Norwegen,oder nur für eine Basis ?
Ich dachte Statoil hätte mehr Bedarf.Ein neuer Vertrag Statoil/CHC für die nächsten 5 Jahre mit 8 Maschinen ist mit
5 Millarden NOK dotiert.Soviel zum Geld...
Liest sich so, als EC das EC225 Getriebe Konzeptionell verändern muss. Das dauert seine Zeit.Laut einer Memo von Statoil bleiben die EC-225 bis mindestens Februar 2013 am Boden, bzw. werden bis dahin nicht für den Passagierverkehr eingesetzt. Bis dahin sollen dann bei allen Maschinen die betroffenen fehleranfälligen Teile ausgetauscht sein.

Although it says it has been trying to identify a "most probable root cause" for the issue, it admits "this Eurocopter assumption has not been proven by tests".
Was bei dem gegebenen Schaden aber u.U. sogar eher Segen als Fluch war. Ob ein 30 minütiger Weiterflug mit der lose im Getriebegehäuse herumfliegenden unteren Hälfte der Welle gut gegangen wäre? Möglicherise ja, aber wehe, wenn nicht...Daraufhin entschlossen sich die Besatzungen zum Ditching weil die vorgesehenen 30 Minuten Flugzeit nicht mehr erreichbar waren.
Von der Konstruktion her dürfte das lose Teil unten im Ölsumpf liegend keinen Schaden anrichten ( positive G vorrausgesetzt ). Da das Öl nicht mehr gepumpt wird, können auch keine Späne o. ä. in das arbeitende Getriebe befördert werden.Was bei dem gegebenen Schaden aber u.U. sogar eher Segen als Fluch war.
