AW: Kawasaki Ki-61 II Kai late version Fotos?
Guten Abend!
Aufl. 1975
"Shortly before production of the Hien was finally terminated, plans had been formulated to introduce a refined model, the Ki-61-III, and among the improvements that this was to embody was an all-round vision canopy. Late in 1944, the rear fuselage of a Ki-61-II-KAI was cut down and the all-round vision canopy fitted, the intention being that this aircraft should serve as an aerodynamic prototype for the Ki-61-III. In the event, this canopy was adopted as standard for the Ki.100-I-otsu."
Merke: "this aircraft" = singular.
