Link zum russischen Orischinal!November 16, 2018, AEX.RU - The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation ordered the collection of the Museum of the Air Force In Monino to be moved to Kubinka near Moscow, to the Patriot park. About this newspaper Trud .
The ministry’s circular entitled “Roadmap for the Arrangement and Development of the Central Museum of the Air Force” details all organizational arrangements - from the creation of a working group for the arrangement to the relocation of the Monino aircraft collection to Kubinka near Moscow and the grand opening of the exposition in the 2nd quarter of 2020 in the park "Patriot".
As the newspaper writes, the document was born after the idea of transferring the winged exhibits, called by a number of specialists “insane”, received a wave of criticism from experts, historians and journalists specializing in aviation. Under public pressure, the Ministry of Defense, after a pause, at some stage even promised to leave the museum alone, but in the end, decided to relocate the Air Force Museum to Patriot Park.
Earlier, experts, representatives of authoritative domestic aviation design bureaus, museum staff and volunteers clearly opposed the transfer, since almost all of the exhibits, many of which are valuable, and some existing in a single copy simply will not withstand the movement process, especially if they have to be disassembled. .
Any attempt to disassemble the exhibits, their transportation and assembly in a new place will entail an irreversible loss of their integrity, appearance and interior, structural and technological damage.
Moreover, according to the museum staff, some machines can be disassembled only with the help of gas cutters. After all, many of them flew to the museum on their own, and never, even in Soviet times, were not subjected to full maintenance and did not disassemble. In addition, transportation of exhibits, especially large ones, across the entire Moscow region is fraught with a huge number of crossings of overpasses, crossings, and power lines. Because of this, the process can be delayed indefinitely, and semi-disassembled cars can be simply looted.
