Einige Fakten
Schub der Rolls Royce Trent 500 Triebwerke:
Zitat von der Rolls-Royce homepage:
The Trent 500 has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of the new four-engined Airbus A340-500 and -600. With an initial take-off thrust of 56,000 lb, the Trent 500 will provide reliable and economic power for this
generation of A340 aircraft. The Trent 500 has been certificated at 60,000 lb which will provide excellent in-service margins, leading to longer time on wing.
A340-600 Gewichtsangaben laut Airbus homepage:
Maximum ramp weight 369.2 (381.2) tonnes
Maximum takeoff weight 368 (380) tonnes
Maximum landing weight 259 (265) tonnes
Maximum zero fuel weight 245 (251) tonnes
Maximum fuel capacity 195,881 (204,500) Litres
Typical operating weight empty 177.8 (181.9) tonnes
Typical volumetric payload 55.6 tonnes
